what we do to Elsieskraal River in Thornton
Elsieskraal flowing from Grand West E. River passing the graveyard Beautiful view, desolate scene E. R flowing to sea
derelict buildings in the Voortrekker Road area
beautiful old brick at the airbase Ubiquitous Kikuyu and rubble people are living here
Heaven's Gate
the long long ride already exists tree lined street in Thornton old crematorium
A strikingly beautiful graveyard
mountain view diverse old trees dust unto dust... very dusty indeed it is here

If the Elsieskraal River could be developed as a green zone for cycle tourism. The flatness of its basin is conducive to easy riding.
Intersecting with the Elsieskraal River basin, the beautiful Maitland Cemetry and the lovely old buildings in the cemetery and at the airbase opposite.
This would be part of a grand four rivers cycle and kayaking circuit for iron man racing, beginning and ending at UWC, and towards the development of the biggest people's park in the world and the upliftment through greening of greater Cape Town and the Cape flats. See http://greenidiom.com
